Donating rackets and balls to help young people enjoy tennis

Last November the Primary Pupil Referral Unit in Redhill asked RPLTC whether we had any tennis rackets we could give them. 

The Unit looks after children who have been excluded from school because of social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.

They love playing tennis at break times and for 'reward times' but their rackets were very old and battered.  

RPLTC members have so far donated over a dozen rackets and several dozen tennis balls.  We have also sourced some more rackets and balls from the LTA. 

The Unit is delighted with our response and has sent the club a letter of thanks which you can see below.
