On Saturday 17 September, members from teams across the club joined together to play a friendly tournament to celebrate the end of the season. It was a great opportunity for everyone to play some friendly, competitive matches (against each other, rather than with each other!).
Our adult teams had very challenging seasons this summer, coming up against some very strong opposition.
Nevertheless, there were a couple of notable successes: Our Weald Mixed team (marvellously captained by Clarissa) won their league and has been promoted to Division 2. Our Ladies 1st team (brilliantly captained by Hilary) is currently in 1st position in their Surrey league, with one match. A win or draw will see them promoted up at least one division.
Congratulations to those team members and thanks to everyone who has played in a team this season and brilliantly represented our club.
