2025 End of Season Party at RPLTC

What a night! Our End of Season Party was a true celebration of community, music, and style, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect way to wrap up another fantastic year at the club.

We began in the clubhouse, which was filled with a touch of glamour for our welcome drinks and snacks. Glasses clinked, conversation flowed, and the atmosphere was buzzing as we toasted to a successful season together.

The celebration then moved over to the cricket club, where the evening sparkled with gorgeous decorations and an abundance of delicious food. Plates were full and never empty for long — a feast that kept everyone fuelled for an unforgettable night of dancing and laughter.

Before the DJ set began, our Chair Graham took to the stage to hand out trophies to this year’s tournament winners. We are so proud of all our Vets, Handicap, Open, and Junior Tournament participants and winners this year. A huge thank you goes to our Club Captain, Claire, for her tireless hard work in making these tournaments such a success.

The Most Improved Player Award went to Amar Hussain, recognising his fantastic progress on court. Also nominated for the 2025 award were Ann Bowen, Jonny Engel, Carter Johnson, Miles Chapman, and Danny Adamson — all of whom have shown huge commitment and development this season.

The prestigious Hugh Brown Club Contribution Award was presented to Mars Hatari, whose energy and creativity continue to give us the very best social events and memories as a club. A thoroughly deserved recognition!

After the formalities, the incredible NiyoJo brought the room to life. His stunning vocals and DJ set had everyone dancing and singing along well into the night.

A heartfelt thank you goes to all our club members who volunteered to help and made the evening possible: Mars, Tim, Graham, Hilary, Catherine, Claire, Paul, Jayne, Katie, Clive, Emily, Francis, and Britt. Your effort, creativity, and teamwork made the whole event unforgettable.

Nights like these remind us that club life is thriving. It’s not just about the tennis—it’s about the friendships, the fun, and the shared celebrations that bring us all together.

The full photo album from the night will be published in the newsletter. Here’s to another fantastic season and to many more moments like this ahead!
